OBJECTIVES:

Capture contextual meaning related to social functions, text structure, and linguistic elements of oral and written procedures, very short and simple, in the form of recipes and manuals

LEARNING ACTIVITIES

A.      Pre – Activities

·         The teacher greets the students in the class and checks students’ attendance.

·         The teacher revisits or reviews the material taught last week by asking students some questions about the material

·         The teacher links the previous material with today's material by asking "Have you ever made your own food? or Have you ever helped your mother cook? "

·         Students are given motivation or stimulation to focus on the topic will be learned by playing a video about the procedure in making food.

·         The teacher asks about what material will be learned today which is related to the video being played.

·         The teacher explains the learning objectives of this material.

 

B.       Core Activities

·         The teachers show an example of procedure text and explain the generic structure and language features of procedure text and students listen to teacher explanations.

·         Students are given the example of procedure text, then the teacher asked the student to observe and identify the text.

• The teacher directs students to ask questions about the matter that is still not understood.

C.      Closure

• The teacher asks some of the students to conclude the material that has been learned on this day orally
• The teacher asks the student to write down what have they learned today and collect it at the end of the class.
• The teacher asked the student some question about the material today
• The teacher gives a homework
• The teacher tells a glimpse of the topic that will be learned next meeting.
• Saying goodbye

 APPENDIX I

PROCEDURE TEXT

 

Definition                : procedure text is a text that shows a process in order.

The social function: to tell the reader how to do or make something through a sequence of series.

Generic Structure     :

1. Goal                            : It contains the purpose of the text.
2. Material or Ingredient: It is containing the materials used in the process.
3. Step                             : Describing the steps to make something in the goal

Language Features   :

1. Use adverbial of sequence / using temporal conjunction: first, second, etc.
2. Use command / imperative sentence: slice the carrot, put…., etc.
3. Using action verb: cut, mix, etc.
4. Using Simple Present Tense: add 2-3 tbsp. of soy sauce.

-          The teacher links the previous material with today’s material by asking “what the colour of your hair?”

-          The teacher provides contextual student learning motivation according to the benefits and application of teaching material in daily life, by giving examples.

-          The teacher explains about learning or basic competencies to be achieved.

B.     Core Activities

-          The teacher shows the explanation of descriptive text, the generic structures, and the language features. Student listens to teacher explanation.

-          Students are given the example of descriptive text, then the teacher asked student to observe and identify the text.

-          The teacher directs students to ask questions about matter that is still not understood.

C.    Closure

-          The teacher ask some of the student to conclude the material that has been learned on this day orally

Appendix 1

Descriptive Text

Descriptive Text is a text which says what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place, or thing.

Generic structure of Descriptive Text

-          Identification: (contains about the introduction of a person, place, animal or object will be described.)

-          Description: contains a description of something such as animal, things, place or person by describing its features, forms, colors, or anything related to what the writer describe.

Language Feature of Descriptive Text

-          Specific participant: has a certain object, is not common and unique (only one). for example: Bandengan beach, my house, Borobudur temple, uncle Jim

-          The use of the adjective (an adjective) to clarify the noun, for example: a beautiful beach, a handsome man, the famous place in Jepara, etc.

-          The use of simple present tense: The sentence pattern used is simple present because it tells the fact of the object described.

-          Action verb: verbs that show an activity (for example, run, sleep, walk, cut etc….)

HOME WORK

Write a simple paragraph of descriptive text about people (you can describe your teacher or your classmate)

We are surrounded by computer world. It is impossible to live without all these computer gadgets like computers, laptops, mobile phones whether at the home, office or while traveling. However, the computer has different shapes and sizes and performs different functions. There are three different types of computers. They are a microcomputer, minicomputer, and mainframe computer.               Microcomputers are also known as personal computers (PCs). They are small in size and relatively inexpensive. They are highly flexible and designed for small scale personal use and business application. IBM, Dell, Sony, HP, and Apple are the manufactures of microcomputers. Compare to the mainframe, minicomputers are midrange computers, small in size and more compact and less expensive. They are designed for computerization of data, scientific research, industrial process, data collection, and telephone switches. Timesharing, batch processing and online processing are available on these midrange computers.               Mainframe computers can store huge amounts of data. They are large in size and memory, power and expensive. These machines are capable of different operating systems at the same time and support time-sharing and virtual memory.

Hi, assalamualaikum

Sore ini gue mau cerita tentang seseorang yang gue sayang selama 5 bulan terakhir sampai sekarang dan inshaALLAH seterusnya aminnnn..

Kenalin aja dia namanya Koko, udah keliatan banget yaa kalau dia species chinesse2 gitu yaa, enggak kok, gak keliatan. Awalnya gue kenal dia waktu gue kapan yaa ? lebih tepatnya pas awal masuk kuliah, waktu itu gue gak tertarik sih sama dia, soalnya dia emang gak menarik. Hahahaha

Ya dia emang gak menarik awalnya, kenapa gue bisa tertarik karena dia cowok dan gue cewek pastinya hahaha, bercanda mulu gue. Ini cerita yang sebenarnya, waktu itu inagurasi ospek terakhir untuk universitas. Sekitar jam 13.30 inagurasi itu selesai, btw inagurasi itu kayak pentas seni gitu buat mengakhiri ospek univ gitu sih.  Lanjut cerita, sorenya gue udah di jemput bokap gue, waktu beres2 buat pulang, eh gue kena mencet telfon nomer dia pada saat baca chat grup wa. Gue lantas kaget kan, terus gue pencet cancel itu sulit banget. Eh, gak lama kemudian dia ngechat gue nih “maaf ini siapa?” gue bales gue afif, dan bla bla terus keterusan deh chattingannya sampek dia sama gue sama2 merasa nyaman.

Gue itu ngerasa dia stanger banget, yaiyalah dia emang stanger lo belum kenal dia fif . Anehnya gue terbuka banget sama dia, sepertinya dia cocok deh jadi temen gue. Lo pasti pernah kan ketemu orang seperti itu? Gue gak punya feeling apa2 yang mengharuskannya lebih dekat dengan dia, soalnya gue fikir dia akan menjadi teman sekelas gue udah itu aja.

Soalnya dari tulisan gue sebelum2nya, gue itu kan pernah cerita kalau gue sulit percaya sama cowok, mangkanya gue sebut cowok itu hantu. Sekilas mau gue cerita lagi, dulu gue pernah suka sama cowok dan kita jadian, kita pacaran sekitar 1 tahun lebih dikit lah, terus putusnya itu gara2 restu orang tua. Gue putus pas lagi sayang-sayangnya, sakit kan. Gue kita dia sedih atau gimana gitu, ternyata dia cari pengganti gue cepet amat, sekitar 2 minggu setelah putus. Sedih banget cerita gue kan ? wkwkwkw.

Gue gak bisa dong nyalahin dia, gue kan bukan cowok, gue kan gak tau gimana cara sedihnya cowok, mungkin cara dia move on dari gue emang harus cari pelampiasan ke cewek lain. Gua gak akan nyalahkan ke siapa2, gue anggap ini pelajaran buat gue.

Ah kenapa gue bisa tertarik sama dia ? hmm gak tau juga ya, mungkin waktu. emang ada ya alasan orang buat sayang sama seseorang ? gak ada deh kayaknya, yaudah kalo sayang ya bilang aja sayang. 

Jadi intinya dia sekarang jadi orang yang spesial buat gue, lucu gak sih tulisan gue ini, kok basa basi banget. maaf yaaa gue sebenernya tadi lagi mood buat nulis, eh kok tiba2 mood gue jadi hilang gini ya.. 

Ah aneh gue , makasih ya udah mau baca cerita gue yang gantung ini hehe

pertama ospek gue takut banget, tau gak kenapa ? disini banyak hantu (julukan buat cowok2 ganteng).
gue takut banget sama hantu seperti itu, untung gue punya temen yang selalu sama gue meskipun dia akhirnya gak sekelas sama gue. nikmati aja yaa YOLO
ketika gue lihat hantu pasti gue memalingkan wajah lalu pergi ngejauh deh.
mungkin alasan ini yang buat gue jomblo sampek sekarang yaa hahaha

kenapa harus banyak hantu di kampus gue??? serem kan jadinya, bikin betah aja (ehh bercanda) hahaha

ada temen gue yang nyangka gue sakit jiwa hayooooo soalnya gue suka panggil cowok2 ganteng itu hantu, masak dia bilang gini ke gue:
TiwTiw : "lo sakit jiwa ya ?"
aku       :"loh kok bisa? apa buktinya?"
TiwTiw :"julukanmu buat mereka(hantu) gak wajar, cogan(cowok ganteng) itu malaikat bukan hantu, sedap di pandang sayang dibuang."
aku       :"hantu tetep hantu, takuuut"
TiwTiw :"justru kamu yang patut ditakuti. cogan badai kok gak suka, kamu gak normal."

kalau chat teman gue ini gue screenshot bisa dilaporkan ke pihak berwajib gak kira2? ini Pencemaran nama baik, dalam kurang lebih 2 menit gue di katai "sakit jiwa" dan "gak normal". sakit hati gue .

kadang gue gak selalu ngeliat hantu serem kok, ada juga yang cute hahaha, tapi tetep aja gue takut. hahaha

apa kabar kalian semua?
gue seneng, akhirnya gue ketrima kuliah jurusan fkip bahasa inggris. Alhamdulillah.
udah gue cuma mau bilang itu doang hehehe. mau pamer cuma wkwkw


gue mau cerita ya
kemarin waktu final register gue kenalan sama cewek cantik banget, menurut gue kalau bagi kalian yang baru pertama liat dia pasti menurut kalian dia perfect banget. dia itu udah cantik, putih, tinggi, kurus, hidungnya mancung, bulu matanya lentik, wajahnya kecil, uuh cantik pokok wes. dia jurusan farmasi, ah gue mah apanya yaa, jauhh bedanya. menurut gue Allah udah adil kok.

pernah kan kalian kayak gue ngerasa iri dengan orang lain yang baru kalian kenal ?
terus kalian pernah gak suka sama cowok/cewek yang baru kalian liat ?
tahan-tahan dulu yee hehehe , kenalan dulu jangan langsung lahap seger-seger hahaha
seharusnya kalau kalian sering gitu di tempat baru, harus simpen nafsu baik-baik. banyak dzikir ya. apa lagi yang pada jomblo nih. sah-sah aja sih berarti kalian itu NORMAL. tapi ingat lebih baik kita membersiapkan diri kita sendiri untuk dia yang akan bersama kita nanti, cepat atau lambat tunggu aja yang sabar.

Setelah 2 Tahun Lamanya

hi hi hi everybody ...
apa kabar ? terakhir ngeposting 2015. eh tau2 sekarang udah 2017 aja.
ngeliat postingan dulu2, aduhh ancurnya tulisan gue. ya ampun malunya hihii
tapi kan masih belajar ya. mohon maklum.

gue mau cerita nih,
yang pertama. gue sekarang mau kuliah nih ceritanya, yang lebih tepatnya itu nunggu pengumuman buat kuliah. jujur nih ya, menurut gue tahun ini itu masa sulit gue, yahh tapi gue tetep bersyukur kok sama ALLAH, kenapa gue bilang begitu ? karena gue gak lolos SNMPTN, SBMPTN pun gue gak lolos, sedih kan ?
sebenarnya gue gak bodoh2 amat kok, mungkin bukan rejeki gue yaa..
dan kemarin gue ikut tes SBMPTBR ini semacam seleksi mandiri gitu se-Besuki, gue mau rahasia-in dulu ya gue milih jurusan apa. soalnya gue takut sakit hati lagi. hihi
doain gue ya semoga keterima, aminn ya robbal alamin.

yang kedua. bisa dibilang gue sampai sekarang ini jomblo fii sabilillah ya. hehe
kenapa ? tahun ini tepatnya gue jomblo yang ke-5 , yey tepuk tangan semua ..
tapi tujuh bulan yang lalu gue sempet deket sama cowok selama 3 bulan ( eh ngerasa 2 minggu sih sebenarnya) why ? because, kita hanya sempat bisa saling kasih kabar intensnya selama 2 minggu. Allah baik banget sama hambanya. karena gue sendiri itu Not the type of girl who always hold handphone. jadi gue itu gak bisa setiap saat ngabarin gitu, menurut gue gak salah sih, soalnya setiap orang itu kan punya hobby, contohnya gue suka nonton film, setiap kali gue nonton film bisa ngabisin 6 jam di kamar (tapi gue gak lupa buat sholat, mandi dan mankan, itu WAJIB) gue cuma bisa ngabarin kalo udan malam sehabis sholat isya' itu aja kalau gue gak ngelanjutin nonton film lagi. hehe
jadi, bagi cowok di luar sana bukan hanya lo yang punya hobby kayak main game atau jalan2 pakek motor kesana kesini, cewek juga punya hobby. jangan tuntut cewek selalu ngabarin lo. pengertian sedikit lah yaa.. tpi lebih baik gak usah pacaran deh atau hubungan yang lainnya, kecuali udah nikah.
mending bagi jomblo2 diluar sana termasuk gue jadilah jomblo terhormat, perbaiki diri, perbaiki hati, dan juga perbaiki penampilan bila kurang menarik (tapi jangan lupa auratnya masing2 ya). karena gue yakin orang baik2 nanti bakal dapet pendamping yang baik2 juga.

yang terakhir gue mau cerita tentang.. emm apa ya ?
gue itu akhir2 ini banyak banget makan, lo bayangin aja setiap kali gue makan 6 centong nasi terlampui, 6 biji tahu goreng habis gue lahap, belum lagi lauk lainnya gue tata rapi di atas piring. tapi gue tipe orang kalo makan berhanti sebelum kenyang gitu, berat gue itu 53 kg tinggi badan gue 163 cm. itu termasuk ideal apa enggak menurut lo? gue bukannya mau jadi sok rakus, tapi entahlah semenjak gue sering minum jamu buat ngilangin gatal2 di badan karena alergi, gue jadi makin suka makan. gue harus gimana nih? gue takut gendat eh gendut. hehehe

Meil dan Rence (My Childhood Friend) part 2

“Kenapa kamu berlari dengan ketakutan ?” tanyaku sambil menggigit sedotan minuman yang masih tertancap pada botol minuman yang isinya hampir habis. “Aku menunggu seseorang di persimpangan jalan sana, selama sejam aku menunggunya” jawabnya dengan wajah yang kecewa. “kalau boleh tahu, siapakah orang yang kamu tunggu ?” , “ibuku” ujarnya. Kita terdiam sejenak di bawah pohon itu hanya rintihan hujanlah yang terdengar.

            Aku tak berani untuk melanjutkan percakapan itu, Aku takut menyakitinya jika Aku melanjutkan percakapan itu. Hujan mereda Rence berjalan pulang dengan tubuh yang sedikit merunduk yang mengartikan dia tak ingin diganggu. Aku mengikutinya dari belakang tanpa mengeluarkan suara, bahkan suara pijakan kakiku saja Aku takut mengganggunya.

            Keesokan harinya, Rence menemuiku dengan membawa satu slot minuman yakult lalu melemparkannya padaku, “nih untukmu Meil !” dengan tersenyum Aku menjawab “Terima kasih, apa yang sedang terjadi ?”, “entahlah, tak terjadi apa-apa menurutku.” Rence menjawab dengan menatapku. Bahasa tubuh seorang pendiam yang pintar membunyikan sesuatu itulah yang aku kenal darinya hingga saat ini.

Kita berangkat sekolah bersama, Rence selalu memboncengku. Meskipun kita berbeda kelas, Rence adalah kakak kelasku akan tetapi Rence tetap sebagai seorang teman yang sangat  dekat dan begitu hangat.

            Ayah Rence adalah seorang pemilik pabrik kakao, jadi Rence dan Ayahnya adalah warga pindahan dari kota yang menetap di desaku selama lima belas tahun sejak Rence berumur dua tahun. Dari dulu Aku memang tidak pernah mengetahui Ibu Rence, karena yang Aku tahu hanyalah Rence dengan Ayahnya.

            Ketika Rence lulus, Rence merencenakan jika Ia akan bersekolah ke kota. Rence adalah siswa pintar di sekolah, bahkan Ia adalah satu-satunya siswa yang lancar berbahasa inggris. “Apakah kamu akan melanjutkan sekolah di universitas ternama di kota sana, Ren ?” tanyaku diperjalanan pulang, “iya Meil, Aku ingin bersekolah di ibukota sana, apalagi Aku sangat merindukan ibuku.” Ujarnya dengan senyum kebahagian dan tangan yang satu menggenggam  rapor dengan nilai yang sangat memuaskan, seakan harapannya akan benar-benar terjadi. Aku hanya bisa tersenyum dan mendoakannya semoga terkabul harapannya. Meskipun Aku tidak ingin jauh dari Rence.
